Kruger Products L.P installed a tissue paper machine at its Crabtree Plant, in the Lanaudière region. The tissue paper machine and all its ancillary equipment were acquired by Kruger from Lincoln Paper and Tissue paper plant in Maine.
LNA’s mandate is to dismantle the existing tissue paper machine and equipment at Lincoln, in the USA and manage the transportation to Crabtree in Canada. LNA is also responsible for the construction management and constructability of the PM building, duplicating the layout in Lincoln; plus the parent roll storage and pulp preparation buildings, which are connected to an existing plant.
The project will increase the Plant’s overall production capacity by approximately 20,000 metric tonnes annually.
