The project consists on the conversion of the Paper Machine No. 10 to launch the production of XTR, a new grade of 100% recycled lightweight and high-strength linerboard. Representing an investment of $250 million, the project generated 700,000 hours of work over a period of 12 months to convert the PM10 and build a new “Old Corrugated Container” plant (OCC).
LNA has extensive experience in developing and managing effective, comprehensive and successful shutdowns. That is why we were requested to provide constructability review and manage all the construction activities for the OCC plant & PM10 conversion. We understand the paper business and think that it is imperative that the shutdowns are carried out quickly and effectively to minimize negative business impacts.
