Project description

The Jean Gaulin Refinery is the largest refinery in Quebec and the second largest in Canada in terms of capacity and it handles crude oil from overseas, the Gulf of Mexico and North America, which is shipped by pipelines and tankers to its deep-water port that operates year round on the St. Lawrence River

From 2000 to 2017, Valero has invested more than $1.9 billion in projects at its Lévis refinery to achieve various objectives such as increasing its performance, preserving the mechanical integrity of its facilities, diversifying its supply sources, optimizing its employees’ working environment and improving its environmental record.

LNA’s was involved in the refinery expansion providing management services to Valero since 2004. During the mandate carried out during 2011 to 2012 LNA provided material and equipment management as well as construction management services for existing reservoir crude storage facility. We also provided inspection services according to the API 653 standards.
